Renovation and Extension in Bishop's Stortford
We were very pleased to project manage this complete renovation and extension for a young family in Bishop's Stortford. The works included managing various trades from bricklayers to electricians, as well as working with an architect and interior designer. The extension to the property was complicated by a culvert running through the garden and under the garage, meaning that the extension had to be modified and we worked with the Architect to find a functional design, but with an interesting form, resulting in the slightly unusual angled offset ground floor. The redesign meant that planning was approved without complication. The budget was tight so we redesigned the internal layout and garden of the property ourselves to save the client on additional architectural design fees, working with them to ensure they got everything they wanted. They were delighted with the end result which came in on budget.

1930's to modern day
This Rubiks cube style extension was a great success and made the most of the space available to the client. The large tiled patio area and sunken garden is a great outdoor space for the family.
