Our Experience

Before setting up GEL Projects we had some 20+ years of varied and extensive experience working in both the private and public sector, in both consultancy and client side roles. We have worked on all types of building from residential to offices, listed buildings to modern architectural wonders, as well as a specialism having worked in some of the biggest and best sports and community venues in the country.

 

These experiences have given us a unique perspective on building and facilities project management and allows us to look at all angles and elements of a project considering works from both the client's and contractor's viewpoint. This allows us to foresee problems before they arrive and to deal with issues in the most efficient and effective way, saving you time and money.

Our experience spans a wide range of project scales and types and has been focused on adding value by applying a mix of hands on and comprehensive consultancy services bespoke to each client's aspirations and assessed requirements. We take an integrated and balanced approach to the multiple disciplines required to achieve effective project and facilities management, including but not limited to building and infrastructure functionality, space planning, efficiency and safety alongside procurement, sustainability, environmental and innovation enhancements, security and ongoing asset management. Our aim is to unlock potential whilst saving unnecessary costs and delivering improved performance and quality from your operational facilities.

We have previous experience in implementing projects involving innovations in roofing, flooring, electrics, solar and HVAC, security etc. and have provided technical project and facilities validation that has aided the award of substantial grants and other funding. We also can support with advice, research and experience with your contractor and supplier procurement.
